Our Thermomix Yum Cha Class
You can learn how to make even better than restaurant-quality Yum Cha at home, quick-fix style, with the help of the AA team! Our Thermomix Yum Cha class will show you how to recreate all the classics from everyone’s favourite Asian morning tea, with everything made from scratch in your Thermomix. You’ve never experienced how good yum cha can be until you’ve made it with your own two hands (or should we day, four little blades), with fresh, quality ingredients and no artificial additives or preservatives.
Each attendee will go home with a class-exclusive recipe booklet, which you can fill with your notes throughout the session. In this class we will be making (and tasting):
Char Siew Baos (pork buns)
Spring Onion Pancakes
Chicken Corn Soup
Hainanese Chicken Rice
As a result of this class, you will have developed advanced Thermomix skills and learn how to:
Steam in the Varoma
Knead in the Thermomix
Make pastry in the Thermomix
Experience Chinese flavours and cooking techniques
Shape dumplings and steamed buns
Cook ‘pot-sticker’ dumplings
Steam whole chickens
