Our Thermomix Christmas Cooking Class
Christmas with the Thermomix offers many exciting options that will make entertaining a breeze, so come along to celebrate with the AA team, and learn just how quick-fix the holidays can be!
Prepare yourself for the silly season in this 3.5-hour class, with recipes, ideas, tips and tricks for entertaining made easy with the help of your TM and the AA team. This class is a great opportunity to get inspired and prepare for your festive functions, helping you to combat the chaos, pressure and stress that often comes with the Christmas period. We’ll be learning a multitude of meals that make a quick-fix Christmas feast, or fantastic options for celebrations and even weeknight dinners throughout the year. This is a great class for both TM veterans and those new to the machine, with loads of techniques being taught.
Each attendee will go home with a class-exclusive recipe booklet, which you can fill with your notes throughout the session. Many recipes will be taught with variations, so that they can be adapted to suit your family. In this class we will be making (and tasting):
Cranberry & watermelon granita
Christmas tree bread rolls
Tomato & chilli salsa
Duck with almonds & green olives
Roasted sage potatoes
Orange & roasted capsicum buttered with steamed greens
White chocolate Christmas ice cream, and
Chocolate Christmas ice cream (layered with a white choc ice cream for something really special!)
As a result of this lesson, you will develop intermediate Thermomix skills and know how to:
Knead in the Thermomix
Steam in the Varoma
Prepare food in advance for easy entertaining
Creatively shape bread
Layer frozen desserts
Make warm-weather Christmas dishes
Make and shape compound butters
Cook duck perfectly
Twice cook potatoes for crispy outside and fluffy inside
alyce alexandra cooking classes are relaxed and intimate, with 24 people or less. Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee while tasting all the delicious morsels of food being prepared in front of you. Our presenters are always open for questions, and will be teaching you many of their most useful Thermomix secrets along the way. Some recipes will be from alyce alexandra’s cookbooks, while others will be exclusive recipes to the classes.
Presenting this class is Janene Babauskis, a well-respected and long-standing member of the Thermomix community. Janene was Victoria’s first Thermomix Branch Manager and worked with the company for eight years. She now focuses solely on running independent specialist Thermomix cooking classes with the AA team, where she shares her years of experience and wisdom, helping you to make the most of this amazing machine.
