Our Thermomix Vietnamese Cooking Class

You can experience the flavours of Ho Chi Min City without ever even leaving the kitchen in our Thermomix Vietnamese cooking class! Learn how to make beautiful and traditional Vietnamese dishes that, until now, you thought were only available from street-food stalls in Vietnam or for a price premium on Victoria Street. Our team — led by the incomparable Tina Wong — will teach you easy, quick-fix tips and tricks that will have you cooking traditional Vietnamese cuisine in no time. Importantly, these dishes are full of the beautiful fresh Asian flavours that you know and love, but without any artificial flavourings or additives. Once you attend this class, you can have the essence of authentic Vietnam cuisine in your kitchen, all the time, anytime, while knowing exactly what’s going into it. And your friends and family will love you for it!

Each attendee will go home with a class-exclusive recipe booklet, which you can fill with your notes throughout the session. Many recipes will be taught with variations, so that they can be adapted for your family’s tastes. In this class we will be making (and tasting):

  • Spring rolls

  • Lemongrass pork with vermicelli noodles

  • Vietnamese chicken cabbage salad

  • Vietnamese dipping sauce

  • Rice paper rolls

  • Traditional beef stock

  • Pho beef noodle soup

  • Pickled salad

  • Three-coloured drink, and

  • Sweet chilli sauce

As a result of this class, you will have developed basic Thermomix skills and learn how to:

  • Experience Vietnamese flavours and cooking techniques

  • Fold rice paper rolls and spring rolls

  • Shallow fry

  • Make homemade bone broths

  • Pickle vegetables

  • Shred meat in the Thermomix

  • Experiment with fresh herbs and new ingredients

  • Prepare and eat vegetables in new ways

  • Cook gluten-free meals

  • Cook dairy-free meals

And who wouldn’t want to be able to do all that?! Come learn how! 

Our guest-presenter for this class is Tina Wong, an incredibly talented and experienced cook and a Thermomix expert; she has been a Thermomix team leader and has run many Thermomix cooking classes, including alyce alexandra’s extremely popular Yum Cha and Vietnamese classes. Tina has honed her skills to bring us this sensational specialist class, and she’s ready to impart her personal experience and wisdom with Korean cooking onto you. This is one class that is guaranteed to help you impress and bring you homemade Korean food success!

Our classes are relaxed and intimate, with 24 people or less. Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee while tasting all the delicious morsels of food being prepared in front of you. Our presenters are always open for questions, and will be teaching you many of their most useful Thermomix secrets along the way.
