Thermomix beetroot smoothie

The easiest way to detox your liver this spring!

+ gluten free
+ dairy free
+ vegetarian
+ vegan
+ soy free
+ nut free
+ egg free

Serves 2

300g beetroot, peeled and roughly chopped
1 celery stick, roughly chopped
½ cucumber, roughly chopped
½ banana, frozen
150g berries, frozen
Handful of greens (rocket, spinach, lettuce, silver beet etc)
700g water, chilled

  1. Place beetroot, celery, cucumber, banana, berries and greens into TC bowl. Add 50g of water, pulverize for 10 seconds, speed 9.

  2. Set timer for 2 minutes, continue on speed 9, slowly adding the remainder of the water over the MC during the first 40 seconds.

Serve chilled. Enjoy immediately or transfer to an insulated bottle to sip throughout the day.
