Thermomix Spiced Hot Chocolate Recipe

Thermomix Spiced Hot Chocolate Recipe

We’ve been enjoying warm mugs of this spiced hot chocolate in the office this week, so we thought it would be selfish not to share! Ellen came up with this combo - it’s a hit of Easter spice in every sip… more than a drink, more of a dessert ❤️️. Thermo cookers are brilliant for hot, frothy drinks like this one as they’ll mix, heat and froth all in one go! No lumps of powder around here. Enjoy!

+ nut free (option)
+ soy free (option)

Ingredients

260g milk of choice (we used oat)
1 tbsp cacao powder
20g maple syrup
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1 large pinch of cayenne pepper (more if you like spice)
1 large pinch ground ginger

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into TC bowl, heat for 5 minutes, 80C, speed 2.
  2. Froth for 30 seconds, speed 8.

Serve immediately while warm, or store in the fridge for up to a week and reheat in the thermie when ready to drink.

This serving is for one cup, double or triple for multiple servings in one go… just add a minute or two to the heating time at step one.
