Let me level with you here – these jacket potatoes won’t have the crispy skin you get from an oven, however they’ll be fluffy, moist and perfectly cooked inside, and they’ll be ready the minute you walk in the door! So, I reckon it’s a fair exchange (it’s the only way I now cook my jacket potatoes!).
