Even though I have (many!) high-powered food processors and thermo cookers which do a great job of pureeing, when slow cooking I love my stick blender - it just makes life so easy! I can put the stick blender straight into the slow cooker pureeing soups, sauces, desserts, drinks… I even use it when making yoghurt! This saves me time and minimises dishes, which for me, is always a big win.

I particularly like this stick blender set when paired with my slow cooker because it’s super high-powered (1000W!) making easy work of blending nuts into creamy sauces, etc. And also because it includes a whisk attachment also - there are quite a few times I use a whisk in my slow cooker, and by having it electric powered means again I save time and effort.
