Vanilla Poached Pears in the Thermomix

Vanilla Poached Pears in the Thermomix

This recipe is such a great way to cook pears – you’ve got the beautiful quarters
that hold their shape perfectly in the steaming tray along with a deliciously sweet
syrup that forms in the thermo bowl from the steaming liquid. While I love these with yoghurt and granola for breakfast, I think they might be best served with a big scoop of homemade butterscotch ice-cream for dessert (my super easy recipe can be found in Everyday Thermo Cooking!).
