how it's made

Our flavour blends are hand-made by Alyce and her mum in a commercial kitchen, in small batches, the same recipes and the same care as always, just more of it. Bolognese Boost is one of the newest flavours to join the family, built to bring slow-cooked, simmered-for-hours depth to even your busiest nights.

a note on organic ingredients

Where we can, we choose organic, and many of the ingredients in Bolognese Boost are: the garlic, onion, basil, thyme and lemon peel are all certified organic, chosen because it's the right thing by your family's health, the farmers, the waterways and the bees. A few of the other ingredients aren't organic, so unlike our other blends Bolognese Boost isn't a fully organic product, but it's made with the same care and the same no-nasties promise as everything we make.

What can I use it on?

Made for quick tomato-based pasta sauces, meat or vegan, but so not just bolognese: stir it through soups and stews, scatter over pizza, risotto or roast vegetables, sprinkle over avocado on toast, or rub it onto a roast beef before roasting.

Is it vegan?

Yes, Bolognese Boost is completely plant-based. The earthy porcini and rich tomato do the heavy lifting, so you get slow-cooked, simmered-for-hours depth with no meat at all.

Is it organic?

Many of the ingredients are certified organic (the garlic, onion, basil, thyme and lemon peel), but a few aren't, so unlike our fully organic blends Bolognese Boost isn't an entirely organic product. It's made with the same care and the same no-nasties promise as everything we make.

Does it contain MSG?

No. We never use MSG in any of our products, including this blend. Just real ingredients, the same as you'd have in your pantry at home.
