why we ♥ it:

A couple of years ago Vorwerk announced that for safety, the TM6 Measuring Cup (also known as the MC) cannot be used when cooking at high temperatures... and that instead you should put your TM steamer basket on top of your Thermomix machine when cooking (more information here). Pretty impractical huh?! Well, we've got a solution! Introducing our clear MC - the MC for all Thermomix cooking, no matter the temperature or the speed! While being completely safe with no risk of pressure build up. When you're done, run it through the dishwasher or quicky rinse in the sink - much easier than washing your whole TM steamer basket.

Even if you don't have a TM6 measuring cup and the associated safety issues, a spare MC is never a bad thing! This little guy is compatible with TM31, TM5 and TM6 machines. It also is our favourite accessory when making mayonnaise, smoothies and juices, separating eggs and juicing lemons straight onto the TM lid (check out the videos).

how to use: 

Simply place on the Thermomix lid instead of the measuring cup, steaming basket or splash guard when cooking or mixing - easy! Our MC does not lock into the mixing bowl lid, so there's no risk of pressure build up.
