The garlic salt you'll put on everything. No fresh garlic in the house? Use this instead of the cloves. There's never a reason to buy a jar of minced garlic from the supermarket again. Go heavy when you want garlic to be the star: the easiest garlic bread of your life, garlic and prawn pizza, seafood pasta, garlic mushrooms on toast. For garlic butter, mix 20 g into 100 g of softened butter. Or add a pinch to whatever you're cooking to lift it: stir-fried broccolini or green beans, mashed potato, or sprinkled over a buttery steak.

how it's made

Our flavour blends are hand-made by Alyce and her mum in a commercial kitchen, in small batches: the same recipes and the same care as at home, just more of it. Mighty Garlic is the newest flavour to join the family. It's mixed and only lightly milled, so you get flecks of parsley through a creamy salt rather than a dust.

Where we can, we make sure it's organic. The garlic in Mighty Garlic Salt is organic, chosen because it's the right thing by your family's health, the farmers, the waterways and the bees.

How much do I use in place of a fresh garlic clove?

Start with 1/4 teaspoon of Mighty Garlic Salt per clove. Mighty Garlic Salt is very strong and very garlicky, so reduce or leave out the other salt in the recipe, then add more to taste.

Is it vegan?

Yes, Mighty Garlic Salt is vegan.

How is it different from Flavour Bomb Salt?

Flavour Bomb is the all-rounder you can put on anything, and it simply lifts the flavours already there. Mighty Garlic leads strongly with garlic, rounded out with onion and parsley, so it's the one to reach for when you want a dish to taste properly garlicky.

When do I use it?

Use Mighty Garlic Salt anywhere you'd add garlic or salt while cooking, from pasta sauces and stir-fries to mashed potato. It's also great as a finishing salt over steak, roast vegetables or buttered toast.

Is this blend spicy?

No, Mighty Garlic Salt has no chilli and no heat, so it's safe for everyone at the table.

Does it contain MSG?

No. We never use MSG in any of our products, including this blend. Just real ingredients, the same as you'd have in your pantry at home.

Is this gluten-free?

We don't use any gluten-containing ingredients in this blend. It's hand-made in a commercial kitchen that also handles gluten though, so we can't guarantee our blends are completely free from traces of it.

Is this dairy-free?

There's no dairy in this blend, and none of our blends contain dairy ingredients. The commercial kitchen we make them in does handle dairy though, so we can't guarantee our blends are completely free from traces of it.

Does this blend contain sesame?

There's no sesame in this blend's ingredients. Some of our other products do contain sesame though, so we can't rule out cross-contact in the making and packing of it. If you have a sesame allergy, we're sorry to say we'd recommend against buying our salt blends.
