This buttercream frosting is so quick and easy and complements any cake to add that creamy soft sweetness on top. Or, if I’m being completely honest, it goes really well eaten straight off your spoon! This recipe makes a great base for you to create all different buttercream flavours... add citrus rind or cocoa in step one or food-grade essential oils and natural colourings at step two. Serve with Carrot Cake (p. 132) or Chocolate Mud Cake (p. 134) – you’ll be one happy camper.
