You can make it at home with our Soft Serve Attachment for your Thermomix, using whatever you’ve got in the freezer — it can be as simple as just one ingredient (hello frozen mango) or a creamier, tropical mix like this mango + banana + coconut combo.
This recipe is naturally sweet (no refined sugar), completely dairy free, and made with real food — but it still eats like a proper treat. It’s also such a win for hot days, kid snacks, after-dinner cravings, and those “I just want something sweet” moments while still keeping it light. Blend it up in advance, freeze it into blocks, then when you’re ready, swirl it straight into cones or bowls in minutes. Fun, fast, and honestly very satisfying.

Ingredients
350g mango flesh, roughly chopped
1 ripe banana, halved
100g coconut cream or coconut yoghurt
Method
In advance:

Place mango, banana and coconut in TM bowl, process for 1 minute, speed 9, assisting with spatula if necessary.

Freeze mixture in ice cube trays or, better yet, or silicone bar moulds (just a dream to remove the frozen blocks). Minimum 12 hours, or until frozen.
To serve:
- Insert your WunderCentix Axis into your Thermomix bowl. Insert Soft Serve Attachment into the Axis.
- Remove frozen ice cream mixture from moulds and place in Soft Serve feeding tube.
- Position ice cream cone or serving bowl under Soft Serve Attachment. Set Thermomix to reverse speed 3 and push down using feeder tube press (included). Soft serve will soon begin swirling down - ensure to catch it! When cone/cup is filled, use a knife to cut off ice cream and begin another serve. If your soft serve isn't coming out smooth in one continuous stream, you simply need to wait a few minutes and let your frozen mixture soften. Ensure also that you've fed enough mixture into the chamber so that it can form a complete swirl.
