Bubbly, sweet and sour, this is just like your classic homemade lemonade, only much, much better for you! It really is magical how the good bacteria in the whey eat the sugar and produce carbon dioxide as a by-product, creating the most beautiful natural carbonation (with much less sugar in the final drink). The hiss and fizz when I first open a bottle never ceases to amaze me! There are so many great fermented drink options, but the reason I love this one so much is it’s accessible to all – no need buy any special starter cultures, just make a batch of yoghurt.
