A silky, five-ingredient chocolate panna cotta, set in dariole moulds and whipped up in under eight minutes.
How stunning does this look? You would be forgiven for thinking it was complicated, but this is one of the easiest desserts you will ever make. A decadent (but not too rich) chocolate panna cotta, whipped up in under eight minutes from just five simple ingredients you probably already have: cocoa, milk, cream, gelatine and sugar.
The beauty is all in the simplicity, which makes it the perfect last-minute dessert for unexpected guests. And if you are a little more organised than that, it keeps in the fridge for up to five days. Honestly, the hardest part is not eating it while it is setting.
All panna cottas, and this one especially, set perfectly in our naturally non-stick Silicone Dariole Moulds. They slide straight out as cute little chocolate castles, then go straight in the dishwasher. Game changer!

Method
Place 100g of the milk and the gelatine in a small bowl. Stir to combine and set aside.
Place the sugar in TC bowl. Mill 10 sec / speed 9.
Add the remaining 400g milk, cocoa and vanilla. Cook 4 min / 70°C / speed 3.
Add the gelatine mixture. Mix 30 sec / speed 4.
Add the cream. Mix 10 sec / speed 3. Divide evenly between 10 silicone dariole moulds rinsed with cold water. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
Quick tip: to release the panna cottas, sit the moulds in a bath of warm water for 5 minutes, or until the sides pull away from the mould.
To serve
Turn the panna cottas out onto individual serving plates and top with fresh raspberries. They will keep, covered, in the fridge for up to five days.
