Homemade almond butter in the Thermomix is so easy and oh so delicious! All you need is almonds (yes I wasn’t kidding when I said it’s easy) to create the perfect spread without the nasties and limiting your waste. Optional ingredients can be added for a hint of sweet or saltiness such as sugar (my pick being coconut sugar), and a pinch of salt flakes. These can be added with the almonds before you begin to blend. For the best results use fresh almonds - not the old ones in the pantry that you are trying to use up, trust me it makes all the difference!

Method
- Place almonds into dry TC bowl, blend for 2 minutes, speed 9.
- Scrape down sides and base of TC bowl using a spatula. Blend for another 1 minute, speed 9, or until desired texture is reached.
