Thermomix Keto Recipes - We've Got Plenty!

So many of you wonderful people have been telling me you want ketogenic Thermomix recipes, which is brilliant because I've created plenty! I have done ketogenic diets myself in the past, so I definitely know all the secrets to make keto food taste delicious (and most importantly, satisfying!). Which is exactly why I wrote my cookbook Miniseries: Low Carb - filled with ALL ketogenic recipes (pictures above). I've got pancakes, frittatas, patties, macaroons, dips, ragus and sooo much more! And the best bit...

included are the carbohydrate, protein, calorie, fibre, total fat and saturated fat per serving, for EVERY recipe!

For anyone new to the game, a ketogenic diet is a high-fat low-carbohydrate eating regime, sometimes called a low-carb diet or the Atkins diet. It's often used for weight loss and/or balancing blood sugar levels, and given that grains are out, it's also good for anyone avoiding gluten!

Thermomix Bulletproof Coffee

It is a super quick low-carb breakfast on-the-go (essential for weekdays) that keeps us full and satisfied well into lunchtime. And when we aren’t thinking about our tummy rumbling, we can focus on work (it’s hard to write about food when you are hungry!). There is plenty of science on the topic (read here), but basically the fats provide satiety and extended energy without the crash usually associated with coffee. For anyone avoiding milk, this recipe mimics a latte without the large serving of lactose. Click here for the FREE recipe!

Thermomix Cauliflower Puree Recipe

This recipe has been a major player in our meal planner for ages, and we’re so happy to finally be able to share it with you! Cauliflower is such a versatile vegetable that tastes great when cooked the right way, is plentiful and economical, and can also be super healthy; not only is it naturally rich in vitamins, fibre and omega-3 fatty acids, it also helps to lower the carb content of so many meals by transforming it into cauliflower couscous (from miniseries: super healthy), cauliflower rice (from miniseries: low carb), and now our cauliflower purée, which is gluten-free to boot! Use this purée as a low-carb alternative to mashed potato to serve with stews, grilled meats and sautéed vegetables. It’s full of flavour and just as creamy as its carborific counterparts, and provides a perfectly pillowy base for so many meals. We love using this purée in place of polenta with our garlic mushrooms from Quick Fix: Every Occasion, as a base for our free recipe for slow cooked beef brisket, or served with poached eggs and grilled prosciutto for a filling Sunday breakfast.

Low Carb Thermomix Granola Recipe

I know some people love a sweet breakfast, and while there are plenty of sweet options most of these lack all-important protein and are loaded with carbs and sugar, which is not a great way to start the day. This recipe uses high-protein nuts and seeds to create a delicious sweet granola the whole family will love. If you are on a low-carb diet this recipe is about to become your new best friend! Thermomix Zucchini Pesto Pasta Recipe

Here’s the perfect starter recipe to get you going on the zoodle train! A fantastic homemade pesto is a great way to get into vegetable noodles, as it’s so full of flavour and texture, making it a perfect accompaniment to the slightly crunchy and subtle-tasting zoodles.

This recipe is a staff favourite for so many reasons: it’s only got a handful of simple, staple ingredients, making it economical and accessible to make; it’s super fresh, healthy and low carb, so you don’t get that post-carb slump in the afternoon when you need to be on your A-game; and it tastes fantastic served cold, so it’s perfect for taking to work or on the road with you. It’s also a great option for last-minute dinners, as it can literally be made and on the table in less than ten minutes. Click here for the FREE recipe.

Thermomix Thai Coconut and Broccoli Soup Recipe

I love the fact that the Thermomix is so powerful we can chuck in all kinds of ingredients that wouldn’t otherwise be used, pureeing them down to nothing! It’s a great to save money, add extra nutrients (without anyone knowing!) and waste less food. Ellen keeps the skins on her frozen bananas when making smoothies and sorbets, Loryn keeps the skin on pumpkin for her cooking and I love using the hard broccoli and cauliflower stems in my creamy pureed soups! So this free recipe does just that, while using curry paste to add BIG flavour (if you want to make your own curry paste, my recipes are in Fresh Favourites). Throw in any daggy-looking greens or beetroot tops you might have instead of the spinach, and any odd bits of zucchini can also be added! Click here for the FREE recipe.

Thermo Chocolate Fudge Gummies Recipe

These have got to be one of the most satisfying sweet treats – not only are they chocolatey, fudgy and delicious, they are also packed with protein, healthy fats and amino acids (and SO easy to make!). Snack on them whenever a craving is coming on, use as a post-dinner sweet treat or grab a couple as you are running out the door to keep you going… even when you haven’t had time for breakfast! The gelatin in these little goodies has anti-inflammatory properties, as well as helping to heal the gut lining and aid digestion. Watch this quick video of me whipping them up!
