This tin (or really the two tins!) can be used both in your Thermomix Varoma to steam desserts, and also in the oven just like your classic cake tin. Brush your tin with oil or rub with butter before filling with batter to ensure easy removal once cooked. Any recipe I do in my dariole moulds can be done in our Springform pan - simply increase the steaming time to 1 hour, and ensure to top up the water if needed. Try our Sticky Date Pudding, Chocolate Pudding or Rose Syrup Pudding.... or steam a whole Lemon and Poppyseed Cheesecake!
If you're steaming your cake in the Varoma, you will need to cover the top of your cake to prevent condensation dripping in. You can use paper towel or foil, but we highly recommend our Steaming Mat which can be place upside down on top of your tin as the perfect lid :)
